Federal Police Stops six suspected gunmen 'La Linea' with guns and grenades
Chihuahua.-Five suspected gunmen belonging to the criminal group 'La Linea' were arrested yesterday by members of the Federal Police when they were driving in convoy through the streets suspiciously Marble Coral and the Morelos.
After a chase in which shots were fired, PF agents arrested Joel Heredia Longoria, Omar Carrera Carlos Ibarra, Sergio David Lopez Aguilar, Jose Luis Salazar Hernandez and Oscar Salazar Fernández.
They said they were part of the local criminal group that engaged in extorting money from traders to execute people linked to another rival group and distribute drugs in different parts of the city.
According to elements involved in the arrest, the five men were in possession of two rifles, 9-mm pistols and two fragmentation grenades, in addition to 44 bundles of marijuana were given a weight of 25 kg and 100 doses of heroin.
The detainees confessed their involvement in 60 killings, so that in a few hours will be sent for appropriation to the Office of Special Investigations on Organized Crime (SIEDO).
and also took part to the Attorney General (FGE) to integrate the respective folders for killings allegedly confessed to federal authorities.
